Pakistan end campaign with a resounding win

resounding win for the Pakistanis in this dead rubber. It all went according to plan for them, wonder what they would have done after winning the toss. A good toss to lose indeed, they bowled in overcast conditions and the Bangladeshis helped them by throwing their wickets away. A paltry total to chase down and it was just a formality for the Pakistanis, the openers batted aggressively to seal a fantastic win. The Bangladeshis would be very disappointed with the way they played their last game, a lot of homework to be done to come back hard in their forthcoming outings. The Pakistanis would be happy to exit on a brighter note. We'll take a day off now and will be back with the high voltage Finals between India and Sri Lanka. Do join us then. Till then from all of us here in the comm box, Adios...
Abdur Rauf is the Man of the Match for his outstanding bowling figures of 3 for 24 which rattled the Bangladeshi top order to cause the early problems.
This is Pakistan's first ever 10 wicket victory in an Asia Cup game.
Pakistan win by 10 wickets
19.4 Reza to Butt, FOUR!!, short and wide outside the off stump, enough room to free his arms, Butt rocks back and slaps it to deep backward point for four, what a way to finish the game, comprehensive win for the Pakistanis!
19.3 Reza to Jamshed, 1 run, stretches out to drive, inside edges it right past the stumps to fine leg for a single, mighty close, almost dragged it back onto the stumps on that occasion
